Living World Denpasar Cleans the Environment and Rivers in Tonja

As a commitment to sustainably maintaining environmental cleanliness, Living World Denpasar conducted a clean-up movement across 10 banjar (neighborhood communities) and two rivers in Tonja Village on 1 March 2026. The locations included Banjar Tatasan Kelod, Tatasan Kaja, Tega, Oongan, Sengguan, Kedaton, Batanancak, Tecehkuri, Tangguntiti, and Tecehsari, as well as the Oongan River and Taman Beji River. The activity was attended by the heads of the 10 banjar, the Head of Tonja Village, and the Head of North Denpasar Subdistrict.

The initiative, aimed at creating a greener environment, involved around 200 participants, including the management and vendors of Living World Denpasar, employees of AZKO, INFORMA, Toys Kingdom, and residents of Tonja Village.

Maria Lucia Lazuardi, Operation General Manager of Living World Denpasar, stated, “Maintaining environmental cleanliness is a sustainable commitment of Living World Denpasar. Through this simultaneous clean-up, we support the local community in preserving the surrounding environment and the river areas located near Living World Denpasar. As part of our long-term commitment, we will also collaborate with Tonja Village to organize educational programs on waste sorting and recycling for the community around Living World Denpasar.”

The event was also enlivened by senior citizen exercise sessions and free health check-ups in collaboration with Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah General Hospital. The event was also supported by Coco Signature and Juro Cake.
