Kawan Lama Group Supports 1,000 Vocational School Students Upgrading Program

Kawan Lama Group proves its commitment to supporting the quality enhancement of vocational school graduates to be more ready to work, so it can fulfill the needs of the business and industry fields (DUDI). 

Through 1,000 Vocational School Students’ Upgrading launched by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen), which was a synergistic collaboration between the government and DUDI, Kawan Lama Group participated as mentor and trainer, relevant study case provider, and facilitator for Field Work Practice in a business environment. The Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, officially opened this program on 28 April 2025 in the Kemendikdasmen Office, Jakarta.

Abdul Mu'ti said, "As an initiative, 1,000 Vocational School Students Upgrading is not only focused on enhancing individual skills, but also as a strategic program in strengthening the collaboration quality between the government, industry, and schools. Thanks to the industries which participate in this program. Through this collaboration, we want marketing students or vocational school graduates to be upgraded. They have competence, skills, and personality as marketers who can be accepted in the industry and advance the companies they work for." 

Daniel Trisno S as Operation Director of PT Home Center Indonesia, Kawan Lama Group’s business unit which manages the INFORMA brand, became the representative from Kawan Lama Group that showed collaborative commitment in line with #KLGMengajar program initiative from Kawan Lama Group. This program also aligns with Kawan Lama Group’s vision to bring a better life through a sustainable commitment to education. 

Besides supporting the 1,000 Vocational School Students Upgrading program, Kawan Lama Group, through Kawan Lama Solution, also actively participates in the quality enhancement of vocational school students' graduates through various activities such as vocational education development, giving high-pressure cleaners to 30 vocational schools, and supporting metrology olympics.
