Living Plaza — a modern, comfortable, and aesthetically designed shopping center that brings together various brands from Kawan Lama Group under one roof — has now arrived in Kendari with a new look and a larger concept on 3 October 2025. Located at Jl. Jend. Ahmad Yani No. 26, Kadia, the shopping center previously known as INFORMA or Rabam Mall now has a new identity as Living Plaza Kendari.
David Lesmana, Director of Living Plaza, stated, “Previously, this mall had a total area of around 6,200 sqm, and now, as Living Plaza, it has nearly doubled in size to 11,900 sqm. This expansion provides greater opportunities to introduce more diverse products and new tenants, with more choices available for Kendari residents as a one-stop shopping destination for home furnishing and lifestyle. The expansion reflects our commitment to offering a more complete, modern, and comfortable shopping experience for families in Kendari and surrounding areas.”
The new look of Living Plaza Kendari is reflected in its more vibrant and colorful facade, as well as transformations within the store interiors. AZKO and INFORMA, which had been operating earlier, now feature larger and more modern spaces. With this expansion, their collections of furniture, home equipment, and lifestyle products become more complete and inspiring.
In addition, the expansion of Living Plaza Kendari is marked by the arrival of several new brands that further fulfill household and lifestyle needs. Toys Kingdom offers a space where children and families can shop and play, while INFORMA Electronics provides a wide range of home and lifestyle electronic products. Chatime comes with selections of over 50 brewed tea flavors, completed with Cupbop which serves Korean-style comfort food to enjoy during leisure time. All these updates are equipped with an expanded parking area, allowing visitors to shop more conveniently.
With its refreshed appearance and larger concept, Living Plaza Kendari is expected to become not only a shopping destination but also a family recreation space — a place for togetherness, inspiration, and enjoyable new experiences for the people of Kendari.
Previously, this year Living Plaza had also opened in Cianjur and Palu, strengthening Kawan Lama Group’s commitment to grow together with Indonesia.
