The red-and-white spirit is burning bright at Kawan Lama Group! To celebrate the 81st Anniversary of Indonesia's Independence, Kawan Lama Group held its Pesta Rakyat ("People's Festival") at the Head Office on Friday, August 14, 2026. Carrying the theme "Working with Passion, Making an Impact for Indonesia," the event became a space for every ELITE Person to celebrate freedom while strengthening camaraderie.
1. Creativity Runs Wild at the Tumpeng Nusantara Competition
More than just decorating rice cones, the Tumpeng Nusantara Competition became a true test of teamwork among teams from various divisions. Each team poured their creativity, cultural diversity, and symbolic storytelling into their tumpeng creations within a limited time. Taste, visual presentation, cleanliness, and thematic relevance all determined the winners, and the buzzing, competitive energy was enough to stop anyone passing by for a closer look!
2. Community Carnival: The Office Turns into a Playful Game Arena
Who says hard work can't come with laughter? Five Mini-Game stations by employee communities, Aerobic, Yoga, Basketball, Badminton, and Mini Soccer tested both teamwork and fun among employees. From the high-energy Pong Dance Challenge, the balance-testing tree pose challenge, the precision-driven Free Throw Challenge, to the adrenaline-pumping Shot on Target, every game was designed to spark joy, cheers, and a genuine festival atmosphere right in the middle of the office.
3. Delicious Bites at Kampung UMKM Karyawan
Kampung UMKM brings a different flavor to the excitement of Pesta Rakyat: a curated selection of culinary delights from top tenants. Booths lined up cheerfully, showcasing a variety of delicious food and drinks from the UMKM vendors. The tempting aroma of good food and the lively crowd wandering around sampling the treats make Kampung UMKM the busiest spot throughout Pesta Rakyat!
Beyond Head Office, Independence Spirit Reaches All of Indonesia!
The excitement of Kawan Lama Group's 81st Indonesian Independence Day celebration doesn't stop at Head Office. Nationwide, employees across various branches and cities in Indonesia were also invited to join the celebration through a series of fun competitions open to all employees.
With that, the spirit of the People's Party (Pesta Rakyat) wasn't only felt by Head Office employees, but also united all Insan ELITE of Kawan Lama Group across Indonesia in the same spirit of nationalism.
