Marking its 15th anniversary, Pendopo chose a meaningful way to commemorate this milestone, not merely with celebration, but with purposeful action. In collaboration with Yayasan Kawan Lama, Pendopo hosted a social initiative titled Peduli Anak Disabilitas (Care for Children with Disabilities) at Yayasan Sayap Ibu Bintaro (8/6).
Marfani, Vice President of Pendopo, stated that through this initiative, Pendopo aims to demonstrate that true achievement is not defined solely by what we have accomplished, but by the real impact we create for those around us.
"We hope our presence today can be a small part of their journey of growth, because every child deserves to feel supported, seen, and loved," she said.
When Creativity Becomes a Bridge to Joy
The celebration was not only filled with formalities but also enriched by warm, meaningful activities. Children were invited to string beads together, a simple yet purposeful activity designed to nurture creativity and build self-confidence. More than just a craft, it became a space for each child to express themselves and discover that they can create something beautiful with their own hands.
One Act of Care, a World of Hope
Amid the joyful atmosphere, Pendopo, together with Yayasan Kawan Lama, presented a donation of IDR 55,000,000 to Yayasan Sayap Ibu. The donation, raised through contributions from employees and all parties involved in the program, will be utilized to support the healthcare needs and daily activities of children with disabilities.
This would not have been possible without the generosity of everyone involved. A reminder that kindness, in any form, always finds its way to those who need it most.
