Launched in 2024, Kawan Lama Manufacturing represents the new identity of Manufacturing & Engineering business pillar within Kawan Lama Group, which was originally established in 2008. Kawan Lama Manufacturing manages a network of factories, both independently run and operated in joint ventures with strategic partners. As of today, it operates across three locations with varying area sizes: Cikande 1 (30,000 sqm), Cikande 2 (80,000 sqm), and Kendal (31,000 sqm).

Aligned with the mission of Kawan Lama Group, Kawan Lama Manufacturing is committed to meet family needs through a diverse range of products. Each year, Kawan Lama Manufacturing produces up to 200,000 sofa variants, 40,000 bean bags, 960,000 office chairs, 3,000,000 mattress and bedding variants, 200,000 bed sheets, 2,880,000 pillows, 500,000 portable gas stoves, and 120,000 grass shears.

In addition to enhancing its production capacity, Kawan Lama Manufacturing continues to affirm its commitment of supporting the domestic economy through TKDN (Domestic Component Level) certification across various product lines. Its production process emphasizes the use of local components that support national industry, including high-quality and domestically sourced local raw materials.

The products of Kawan Lama Manufacturing are marketed through Kawan Lama Group’s retail networks: AZKO, INFORMA, SELMA, and ruparupa. Alongside its domestic reach, Kawan Lama Manufacturing also exports to international markets, reflecting Kawan Lama Group’s active participation to elevate Indonesia’s manufacturing industry on the global stage.
