Through the Berbagi Senyuman program, Toys Kingdom, in collaboration with Make-A-Wish® Indonesia, brought a deeply meaningful moment to young cancer fighters at RSAB Harapan Kita in Jakarta (17/6), a reminder that behind every small smile lies extraordinary courage. The Berbagi Senyman program has been running since 2017, and to date, more than 7,000 children have benefited from it, because nothing means more than making sure every child can still smile, even on their hardest days.
Ellen Widodo, General Manager of Marketing Communication at Toys Kingdom, shared that this program was born of the belief that every child deserves to experience the joy of childhood, without exception.
"We believe that play is the language children understand most, even in the midst of their struggles. Through Berbagi Senyuman, we want to be part of their spirit, accompanying every step of their journey with the joy they truly deserve."
The event featured a heartfelt sharing session led by cancer survivors, who bravely recounted their journeys, bringing encouragement and hope to the children still in the fight. In that same moment, Toys Kingdom also presented educational toys as a tangible expression of care, because for these children, play is how they find a lighter world on the days that feel the heaviest.
This journey is far from over. Senyum Anak Negeri program will continue to reach further, touching more corners, more faces, and more smiles waiting to be found. For Toys Kingdom, every child who smiles is a reason to keep showing up and caring.
