Living World Grand Wisata Reaches Topping Off Phase and Targeted to Start Operating by the Beginning of 2024

Living World Grand Wisata, developed by PT Sahabat Duta Wisata as a joint venture company between Kawan Lama Group and Sinar Mas Land, has held groundbreaking process on 30 September 2021 and has reached topping off process on Friday, 12 May 2023, marked by gold nail implantation process on the mall’s top floor by top level management. 

Built upon 40,000 sqm area, with the total size of building and parking area reaching 155,000 sqm, the project’s total investment is around one trillion rupiah and estimated to start operating in the first quarter of 2024. 

Living World Grand Wisata will present over 300 stores featuring anchor tenants of Home Living, Home Improvement & Lifestyle such as ACE, INFORMA, Toys Kingdom, Pet Kingdom, SELMA, Pendopo, Chatime, Cinema XXI, Funworld, and more. Moreover, the architectural uniqueness with nature nuance that blends with the newest concept of restaurant/cafe and entertainment with eco-friendly mall concept will be the new trendsetter for a shopping center. With a commercial area size over 58,000 sqm, Living World Grand Wisata will become the biggest and most complete Home Living & Eat-ertainment mall in the suburb area east of Jakarta and Bekasi.

Sustainability concept has become one of the main considerations in the blueprint of Living World Grand Wisata, where Kawan Lama Group and Sinar Mas Land agree to support the achievement of Indonesian Government’s target to reduce 29% of greenhouse gases emissions from baseline 2030. Started from that, Living World Grand Wisata applies concept of energy efficient architecture that uses high efficiency AC (air conditioner) system in electricity use that saves energy up to 25%, using LED lamps that saves energy up to 60%, and sunlight utilization as natural lighting through skylight from window made of double glazing glass that can prevent sun heat entering the room, resulting reduction in AC use.

Living World Grand Wisata will also apply water conservation concept through zero waste water system by reprocessing water waste, where the yearly saving of water use equals 50 times of filling the Olympic size swimming pool. The use of reprocessed water will be used such as for watering the plants in Living World Grand Wisata’s green park area of 2,000 sqm.

Living World is a shopping center with "Home Living & Eat-ertainment" concept, developed by Kawan Lama Group with their broad experience in developing various modern retail and shopping centers. The first Living World started operating in Tangerang in 2011, followed by the second one in Pekanbaru, Riau, and the third Living World in Denpasar, Bali, then the fourth Living World will open in Cibubur, West Java, estimated in the end of 2023.
